CERAMIC
I fell in love with the feeling of forming and sculpting with my hands the first time I touched clay. I really enjoy my time at Syracuse University, where I spend hours in the ceramics lab hand-building coils and throwing plates on the wheel. I feel a strong sense of accomplishment when I see how the glaze turns out, whether shiny or satin. Using the finished pieces as kitchenware or for drinking tea makes my work feel meaningful, and its practicality brings me joy.
